FALL WINTER 2022
Art is one of those expressions with the ability to change the world. This is manifest in the avant-garde of the early twentieth century and the trends of the sixties, from conceptualism onwards. The famous trendsetter Lidewij Edelkoort identifies, within this consideration, the crucial themes guiding fashion, style and home living in the coming winter. The contemporary desire for change is revealed in the essence of the creative spirit marking the beginning and the middle of the twentieth century. Rediscovering this inclination, we learn not to be monolithic but to mix the elements and give space to expressive freedom; playing with colours and blending inspirations to come up with new textures and designs. Within this vision, the F/W 2022/2023 collection by Fazzini is born.
A TALE OF BEAUTY
The desire for sophisticated and impalpable sensations continues with the Velvet and Velvet Velluto collections. The main character of the bed is a large floral design, vivid and three-dimensional, recalling the sculptural works in the chalky variant of grey and lilac, evoking the furnishing fabrics in the pink version and looking like an oil painting on canvas in the petroleum version.
THE DYNAMISM OF GRACEFUL CURLS MEETS
Inspired by the artistic avant-gardes, the Cirri collection features a decorative curl on the duvet cover, quilt and rectangular cushion. This evokes the dynamism of some works of Futurism in the encounter with a subtle line.
Over the top-quality soft cotton, innovative printing techniques have been experimented as the one engraved with cylinders allowing the colour to swell and create three-dimensional visual and tactile reliefs: white recalls the plaster effect and with its tactile feeling conveys the artistic act. Furthermore, it is precisely from this technique that the Ritmo collection is born, in which the material white of classical statuary is interpreted in a succession of barely perceptible contemporary geometries. As in a conceptual work by Robert Ryman, this tone reveals a silent, muffled, comforting game of light and shadow. The duvet cover and quilt processed with a very light button-padded motif are available in pearl grey variants with lilac and cream mixed with shades of stone.
The Volti collection is dedicated to the great female artists of the early twentieth century, who with their revolutionary spirit and through their works have managed to voice women’s empowerment.
The duvet cover becomes a large canvas presenting a stylized, deconstructed and reconstructed face: the geometric signs are intertwined in a sort of cubist design which is coloured in warm tones of pink or cold greens and purples.
Fazzini investigates the theme of solid color embellishing it with Hellen that combines the pure white of 300TC satin with a gray flounce. Developing the idea of being able to combine prints with solid colors, the 300TC Deal satin bed linen set and duvet cover are enriched with seasonal colors.
DEDICATED TO THE MOST
The flowers are gathered in elegant bouquets in the Nastri collection taking its name from the element keeping the bouquets together: it is an innocent bow that awakens childish memories, but at the same time suggests a seductive gesture. Available in pink or forest green, the duvet cover is reversible.
Instead, the Ninfa line recalls the beauty of the English chintz. Thanks to the thirteen-colour engraved print, flowers bloom on the sheets, duvet cover and quilt; the matt lacquered white gives the design outstanding visual materiality.
The summer blooms of the Italian gardens portrayed by the masters of the past or enclosed in signature fragrances donate to winter a new and exciting sensation with the Boboli percale collection. On a beige, pearl grey or petroleum background, the petals come alive and become three-dimensional in a contemporary interpretation of romantic moods.
