SPRING SUMMER 2023
The permanent and reciprocal bond between man and nature inspired the birth of Italian gardens in the Renaissance era. The domesticated landscape has always elevated the condition of humanity with its shapes and colours: sitting in a garden, observing it, breathing it and inhabiting it awakens a deep sense of freedom and harmony. Thus, the beauty of the blooms of these places and the desire to enjoy their magic inspired the spring/summer 2023 collection by Fazzini.
From the rigour of the Renaissance parks to the apparent spontaneity of the nineteenth-century ones, up to the most contemporary, the gardens enter the bedroom bringing well-being and emotions. The Italian tradition of quality linen of which Fazzini has been the main character for over 40 years, the refined prints that have made the history of the brand, the timeless solid colours and complex patterns are presented in a fluid way and in a sweet gradation on the new collection, thanks also to research for fabric excellence. The percale with finishes of the highest level conveys a very soft tactile sensation; satin brings a seductive and timeless elegance. The joy of living is mixed with a new romanticism and the totality of summer is expressed in extraordinary vibrations of colour. Neutral tones are in the background creating continuity between the seasons; the pinks bloom gently and then light up with wisteria shades and purple details; hues of petroleum blue match with greys. Nature is told through the lands that are gradated in mustard and copper, but also in sudden explosions of energy with green lawn, yellow sun and bright purple.
The poetry of the Giverny garden that inspired MONET’s most famous artworks is captured in the collection bearing the name of the Impressionist painter. A floral design takes shape in a watercolour effect conveying freshness to the bedroom. The brushstrokes of colour degrade until they become almost imperceptible, mixing with extreme grace the shades of the season. The design brightens up and transmits three-dimensionality on a white base and then hides in an almost seductive way when it is combined with a pearl-grey background, just barely in motion. The two variants meet in the sheet flounce and play on reversible pillowcases;
THE GREAT ITALIAN GARDENS
From Lake Como to Lake Maggiore, up to the Florentine hills, the large gardens that have made Italian history return in VILLA OLMO, ISOLA BELLA and BOBOLI. The charm of these enchanted places is told in spectacular blooms.
With a pictorial trace, of botanical inspiration, the lilies decorating the VILLA OLMO sets are born: the design reveals the wonder of nature and is intertwined with a slight geometry quoting the graphics from the fifties. The sheet and the duvet cover are also accompanied by the sheet bedspread which conquers the heart for its ability to furnish the atmosphere of the room. Flowers also bloom on the sheet bedspread, duvet cover and quilt of ISOLA BELLA with extraordinary freshness. Offered in shades of pink and blue, it is a timeless collection reinterpreting with a renewed vigour the history of Fazzini prints and pays tribute to a poetic marriage with nature.
THE BOBOLI GARDENS
Instead, very small cluster blooms pop up on the BOBOLI line, inspired by the atmosphere of the most famous garden in Florence, which still today transmits the extraordinary artistic and cultural sensitivity of the Medici family. The petals come alive and become three-dimensional thanks to the encounter between the material white and the seasonal colours on the sheet, the duvet cover and the quilt.
THE IMPALPABLE ELEGANCE OF SATIN
The refined satin with its impalpable texture looks out for spring/summer bringing the singular touch of seduction of the winter nights. The fine-weather seasons are interpreted with the prints, colours and hems expertly constructed.
VIVIDITY AND THREE-DIMENSIONALITY OF FLOWERS
A large floral design, vivid and three dimensional seemingly hand-painted, is the star of the VELVET collection, available in sophisticated shades of petroleum blue, pearl grey and pink.
With BACO, Fazzini evokes the texture of raw silk with an elegantly rippled surface, presented in pink, petroleum blue, pearl grey and mustard variants.
Moving on to the totality of solid colours with SENTIERI, also investigates new and decidedly masculine nuances, such as London, and is enriched with a triple hem with tone-on-tone bands, to offer a passe-partout to be combined with many other patterns.
GEOMETRIES AND CONSTRUCTIONS
Among these, the geometric texture of the ROTHKO line stands out, bringing the painter’s abstract expressionism to the bedroom. In the field of satin, there is also one of the Fazzini icons: KUBRIC which expresses the company’s ability to work on important designed and is renewed in the colours of the season.
WORKS FROM THE THIRTY
Back to the precious percale by Fazzini, the S/S 2023 once again offers GALUCHAT with its engraved print made with three-dimensional pigments conveying a small movement and recalling the effect of certain sophisticated processes from the thirties.
The sheets with the contrasting flounce applied by hand, the duvet covers and the reversible quilts play on the energy of the solid colours in the reversible products of DIALOGO to renew the bedroom every day: the romantic pink meet in sophisticated tonal combinations and the wisteria plays with the purple.
AVANT-GARDE OF THE TWENTIETH CENTURY
Fazzini goes beyond the boundaries of the beautiful Italian tradition to find inspiration in the most extraordinary artistic expressions from the twentieth century. Visionary characters such as Antoni Gaudi and Yves Saint Laurent bring a contagious vitality to spring/summer. The genius of the Spanish architect inspired the PARC GÜELL and BARCELONA collections. The first evokes with a geometric print the irregular shades and the fun dynamism of the glass and ceramic mosaics of the famous park of Barcelona; the second offers on the duvet cover and on the sheet bedspread a design recalling the Gothic-organic style of the many works of the architect made for the Spanish city.
The creative energy and the explosion of colours reach their peak in the garden of the Marrakech house of the French designer, of which JARDIN MAJORELLE interprets its heavenly beauty. The solid-colour sheet with contrasting flounces is combined with the exuberant floral print of the pillowcases. The same design is found on the duvet cover, quilt and jacquard bedspread.
These collections invite you to experience the energy of color that Fazzini also conveys with a series of accessory elements. From the CANESTRI cushions characterized by bright and gaudy colours, to the CHEVRON, NETTARE and DIALOGO bedspreads, which with their textures and motifs enrich the bed sets. For cooler evenings, Fazzini offers a series of very soft fleece throws. Finally, Fazzini's spring/summer collection is renewed with the colors of the season for the bathroom too.
The CANESTRI pillows, in the square version of 45x45 cm or in the 30x50 cm version, reveal a precious jacquard process recalling the ancient weaving techniques of basket makers. Available in sun yellow, copper, stone grey, purple or lawn green.
The bright shade of green paints the CHEVRON bedspread, also available in petroleum, pink, pearl, rope and white, which furnishes the bed with the classic herringbone pattern texturized by light quilting. Among the bedspreads, NETTARE makes a comeback to which is added the pearl gray tone and DIALOGO with its wavy construction. For cooler evenings, Fazzini offers a series of very soft fleece throws.
For the spring/summer bathroom, Fazzini presents the soft COCCOLA sponges in copper or petrol. The latter color is also declined in the NETTARE line which continues to conquer for the softness of its maxi honeycomb processing. POIS and TRIADE have also been reinterpreted in the new seasonal tones and mix with the SALT AND PEPPER variants.
Bold and fun, however, is the AFRICA capsule that plays on the combination of black and white, declined in an elegant pied de poule, also in the bathrobe version, in a beautiful spotted and in a gritty zebra.
